Bathurst is a city located on the eastern coast of the country of Canada. Here's a quick lesson for those unfamiliar with Canada: the country comprises 13 different areas (10 provinces and 3 territories). You'll find Bathurst in the province of New Brunswick, which is bordered on the north by Québec, on the southeast by Nova Scotia and the west by the United States. Bathurst sits on the shore of the Bay of Chaleur, a part of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

As you can see on this map, Bathurst is in the northern part of New Brunswick. To give you an idea of the size of New Brunswick, here are some driving times: from southern New Brunswick to the northern area would take about 5 to 6 hours.
